Smart Sense™ DSP technology

Smart Sense™ digital signal processing technology (DSP) is available only from Telex. This technology identifies unique frequencies in each aircraft and adjusts accordingly to cancel out those specific frequencies. It is the lower frequencies that over time cause significant hearing damage and increase fatigue, and the Stratus 50-D works like no other headset availble to target those specific frequencies and cut more noise. The end result is a total reduction of 50 decibels of low frequency cockpit noise. No other headset eliminates more damaging noise than the Stratus 50-D. While the Stratus-50 cuts lower frequency sounds voices, and music are clearly heard.

The Telex Stratus 50-D with patented Comfort Cam™ technology is the most wearer-friendly, most adjustable headset on the market! The ComfortCam allows the tension of the headset to be quickly and easily adjusted with just a few clicks. The Stratus 50-D has a unique construction designed to evenly distribute weight to eleminate pressure points and hot spots. The heat-sensitive foam in the deep, plush ear-cushions molds to ear or around glasses for a great fit and excellent noise attenuation.
