Emergency Repsonse First Aid Kit

The Emergency Response Kit is made from a durable outer shell which is water resistant and snag proof. 1000 Denier Nylon, dyed Bright Red. The handles are a heavy nylon webbing (black) with a small velcro fastener between them. Heavy duty zipper for closure. Embroidered with a Maltese cross logo and the words EMERGENCY RESPONSE KIT.

The Emergency Response Kit meets and exceeds new standards as they have recently been established by the American Heart Association and the Canadian Heart Foundation for caring for sick and injured people!

All supplies are held securely within the kit in order that it may be hung vertically from a handle for easy viewing of materials.

Although the supplies may be used by anyone regardless of skill level, ERTC strongly recommends everyone take a standard first aid course. The Critical Action Card included with the kit describes in general terms the steps a rescuer should follow when presented with a patient in an emergency. The importance of having the knowledge of how to safely open the airway in an unconscious patient, or how to immobilize someone you suspect may have a broken neck, cannot be overstated. Many different agencies offer standard first aid training, and most programs only take a couple of days to complete. Have a look in your yellow pages under First Aid Training to get information about courses in your community.

The kit comes complete with a variety of supplies, each carefully selected to ensure the highest quality and reliability.

Safety & Maintenance

Do not immerse the Emergency Response Kit in water, or launder in a machine. If kit is dirtied, use a moistened cloth and wipe away dirt. If it is to be stored outside, a plastic covering should be placed over it. Be careful not to crush the kit, as that may activate the chemicals contained within the hot and cold packs. Do not dispose of in fire.

The kit should be stored out of the reach of children, due to the presence of sharp objects and chemicals contained within several of the included products.

When you first get the kit, open it up and familiarize yourself with the contents and where they are stored. Examine the pocket mask, and ensure you understand how it would be applied to an unconscious patient.

The Emergency Response Kit is warrantied for 90 days after purchase (keep your receipt) for defects in materials or workmanship. Warranty does not include contents.
