S-Tec System Twenty Autopilot
This single-axis autopilot system utilizes S-TEC's proven technology and is a true, rate based system, deriving roll axis control inputs from its electric turn coordinator. Rate-based autopilots have inherent reliability and performance benefits over attitude-based autopilots. Features include single axis, roll stabilization, turn command, heading hold /heading pre-select when interfaced to DG with heading bug or HSI (optional), NAV/LOC/GPS tracking with HI and LO sensitivity. Smoother flight control than attitude gyro-based systems; rate-based design varies bank angles with airspeed. Zero additional panel space required; programmer, computer, annunciators and servo amplifier entirely contained within turn coordinatior case. Proven building-block design; Altitude hold can be added later to become a System Thirty.
In order for this system to be installed in Certified Aircraft, it must be installed by a certified AMO. Failure to do so will void your aircraft's C of A.
The price below is for the System Twenty only and does not include installation. Our price includes the installation kit for homebuilders and other non-certified aircraft installations.
