COPA 2009 Fly-in Convention and Centennial of Flight Celebration

July 17 – 19, 2009 will bring flying enthusiasts from across the country to share pilot fellowship, to learn from others, to exercise good governance and to celebrate 100 years of powered flight in Canada with national pride and western hospitality. It is the COPA 2009 Fly-in Convention and Centennial of Flight Celebration. The Calgary Organizing Committee is working hard to make this celebration a fitting tribute to general aviation’s longevity and to make it a landmark event for attendees. This is the first is a series of articles that will spark your interest, tell you what is planned and help you make arrangements to attend.

The Centennial Celebration and Fly-in Convention will be hosted at the Calgary Flying Club and the hangar campus of Mount Royal College, located with a stunning view of the Rockies, at CYBW, Springbank.
