- Had been a CFII, MEI for years, and have about 1000 TT. I also have flown jet warbirds such as the Fouga, L029 and L-39. These days, I direct and produce feature films, including Defcon 2012. I'd love to totally succeed and then go partners on a L-39.

- I'm glad you like the network Carolina! We've designed it to be similar to Facebook in what you can do on the site. I've been putting in some pretty long hours over the last year getting it set up - we're trying to make it as feature rich as we can. So, far my main focus has been setting up the site, but we're now moving towards building the member base. If you know of some other pilots who would be interested in joining, the Invite tab at the top is an easy way to do that. One of the most difficult things to accomplish so far on the site is to get everyone talking. But hopefully that will come with the forums, member blogs etc. No sense having a social networking site if no one is being social!
One of the things we really like is feedback from our members. We may think something is set up properly on the site, or the features we have are great, but it's the members who are using the site and have the best insight. So if we're missing anything, have comments or suggestions, please don't hesitate to fire me an email.
Where are you in Southern California? I flew into LAX in '07 - went to Provenance Fighter Sales, now Platinum Fighter Sales over at French Valley Airport. The Spitfire my grandfather flew in WWII was finally restored and my family attempted to purchase her. You can see my other site at www.warbirdfoundation.org . My ultimate goal is to one day fly her - I might pick your brain a bit on how to best position myself to do so!
Anyways, I'm happy to have someone such as yourself on board our community. It's great to meet pilots from around the world. Anything you need, don't hesitate to ask. Now if I can just somehow entice you to start blogging about your jet flying...wink, wink.

- Hello and welcome to Blue Sky Gear's Online Avation Community- we're glad you joined! Although we're a fairly new site, you'll find there's a lot to do and plenty of people to meet.
